In tonight’s debate, sponsored by UMass Lowell and the Boston Herald, Elizabeth Warren again demonstrated her respect for the office and her respect for the voters by talking about the real issues. She displayed a true spirit of leadership and conveyed the values that will drive her votes in the Senate on our behalf.

Our families need a senator whose vote we can count on. Reelecting Scott Brown increases the possibility of a Republican controlled Senate. The Republican agenda does not meet the needs of the people of this state. Elizabeth Warren will challenge the Republican agenda, and that is something Scott Brown will never do.
